Description
Rob Hawkins is one of the main characters of the story. He is the younger brother
of Jason Hawkins.
The party at the beginning of the movie is Rob’s going away party. He is going away to work for Slusho Corp. In Japan. During the party scene we learn that Rob is very much in love with his best friend Beth who later shows up at the party. She later leaves due to conflicts. Then, the monster attacks. After the partygoers disband on the streets of New York, Rob decides he must find Beth and make sure she is safe. Leading to a few friends making their way through New York in search of Beth.
Death?
It is unclear if Rob and Beth die at the end. But we hear bombs going off and see rubble through the camera. So it is assumed that they did die. This is still unconfirmed though. Some believe that Rob at least survives because at the end of the movies credits you can hear him say ‘help us’ or played backward ‘its still alive’.
