Description
Clover, put simply is a giant unknown creature and frankly the star of the whole movie. Clover is a huge creature (not monster! J) that attacks Manhattan on January 18, 2008. Clover is described by Neville Page as a Baby, immature, scared of its new surroundings, and suffering from separation anxiety. Saying “there's nothing scarier than something huge that's spooked". Refering to a rampaging elephant. This leads us to believe that Clover was only recently separated from his/her parent. Monster? I think not. Just a lost, confused, and scared baby.

Clover has extremely thick skin, and is able to survive under extreme pressure and freezing temperatures. The think skin provides almost a layer of armor for the creature, seeing as military bombs cannot penetrate it. Though the bombs do seem to irritate Clover quite a bit.

Clover’s appearance is quite unique. To the point where you really could not compare Clover to any other animal. Clovers skin is a gray color (though looking brown at times), with sort of a grainy looking pattern. Clovers eyes are brown with a large pupil (this does somewhat resemble a horse, this was on purpose). There are two pinkish sacks on the sides of Clovers head that seem to inflate, and deflate with its breathing. Clover can open its mouth and nearly a 90 degree angle, showing us a somewhat short skinny tongue and a lovely row of teeth.

Clovers body is far to hard for me to explain, so I will post a image with the proper anatomy soon.

Death?
The fate of the creature is unknown. Though after the military carries out Operation HAMMER-DOWN, (when we see Rob and Beth most likely being blown up) you hear Rob say ‘help us’ but when played backwards it says ‘Its still alive’. This leads us to believe that Clover is very much alive.
